Perkins shibaura

Just ran across a youtube video titled " USA -- Perkins Shibaura Engines LLC ,Facility " by Perkins Engines Company Limited , does this mean the LS tractor are basically running a Perkins Engine ?

LS did use a Shibaura engine for a while.

It appears their current engines are a licensed Mitsubishi design they brand as their own.

Not a bad choice in my opinion since the Mitsubishi engine in my R3039H has been a great engine.

My new 2016 XR4040 has the N844-F-30 Shibaura Engine

The LS i traded in had a Mitsubishi engine and i agree it was a great little power house ..zero trouble
