Can anyone tell me about their experience with the pdf downloadable service manuals available online? I'm looking for one for my JD LX172. Are they as in-depth as the real thing?

While we are talking manuals, I am having trouble finding the owner or service manual for the John Deere LX 178. I'm sure the original manual covers many more models in the LX line so any would be of help. Anybody got one to share or good links to get one? Many thanks.

What is your point? I have searched on this site (and other forums) for the manual I am looking for. When I didn'
t find it, I asked for help. Is this not the purpose of this forum?
