Ok how many of you are using a Pat's Quick Hitch on your 3 point?

I bought it for my Kubota L4400 because it didn't have telescoping 3pt arms. I used it for about six months then took it off. I sold the tractor later and threw in the Pat's. The current owner has never installed it.

I think it's a great addition to a larger tractor.

I bought it but then discovered that it would not work without also replacing my top link because Pats pushed the implements back a bit - i.e., my top link was now too short. My top link was hydraulic and replacing that with a longer one is not cheap. I did not want to invest more money so I never used Pats. Initially I thought I would keep it and some day make the modifications but then decided that I could manage hooking things up without Pats system since I don't need to change things out that frequently. Over the years I have become quite efficient in changing things out so I decided I really did not need it. It is still in the box somewhere in my barn. I am not saying it would not be nice to have, and Pats unit seems very well built, but just know that it may not work without other changes.

I've had mine on my New Holland TC18 for 10 years or so. I did add a hydraulic top link at the same time. I just can't wrestle around with 60" box blade or 60" finish mower anymore. Never had them off and never plan to.

I bought Pats for my Case 885 because it moved the attaching points back. My PTO shaft lengths now are good for both my Case and Ford 4000.

Make sure you do not over-extend the pto,, if you install such an attachment,,
I have seen several pto shafts destroyed, because the length was not checked.

If the shaft is too short, you can add a pto extender to the pto shaft. I think they come in different lengths. I agree it is critical to make sure the pto shaft is not over extended. In addition to destroying the shaft, it could be dangerous.

Couldn't use on 80hp tractor without replacing PTO shafts for all equipment. Extension shafts would just twist and fail.

We have Pat's system on a L3800. We like it a lot. We previously used the Delta Hook system, which was expensive because we bought female units for most of our attachments. We prefer Pat's system. However, we did have to buy a longer top link because of Pat's system extending the end of the lift arms about 5".

Had a JD850 for 27 years. Use a grader blade for snow, rake the rest of the year for the drive, garden etc. bought a new Kioti ck2610hst, found that when I parked it in the barn I had to drive it in to hug the wall of the alley, in order to get to the dipstick (located on the opposite side from the 850). Due to that I don't leave the blade or rake on it when parked in the barn, which necessitated removing it every time I was done for the day. I found the Pat's quick hitch to be a definite advantage in my case. Just follow the instructions to the letter and check all the bolts every time you use it, they can loosen up. Can't speak to using it with a pto powered piece of equipment.
