Pat\'s EZ-Change - New Version VS. Old?

I am sick of tearing my knuckles off when attaching my 550# concrete ballast. I think I will be purchasing Pat's EZ change, but I do not understand the difference between the original and the new versions of ths EZ Change. Please help me understand the difference. Is it just the spreader? Is it this worth the $28 more? My implements (so far) only have 2 inches difference in width, so Pat's should be very helpful... to the hands and the little ears. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Thank you.
