I got a set of these a week or so ago and just now am getting around to the install.

Anone know if the install instructions are avaiable online? I seem to have lost the paper somewhere between the house and the barn....

Also, IIRC, the instructions said to install the shims with a barrel pin. There was no barrel pin in the package - is that normal?

Nevermind - after a trip to the hardware store and a bit or trial and error, I got them installed.

I have a Kubota L5030 with top-n-tilt . . . are there any compatability issues with the t-n-t. I've read several posts that indicate problems with the lenth of the top link.

I purchased the Pat's Quick Change system a couple years ago, and a few weeks ago I upgraded my tractor, so I removed the units and saved them for my new tractor. Well wouldn't you know it they wouldn't fit, so I contacted Pat, and behold they shipped me a new set that fit perfectly, and I shipped the old ones back. The only charge was $25, and I am astounded at how gracious they were. This is the kind of company I like to deal with, over and over again.

If anyone is hesitating ordering a set, go ahead, you won't be sorry.

I have read this thread from beginning to end. Everyone criticizes the poor instructions provided with the system. I've heard that for over 2 years now since I discovered this site when thinking about CUT purchase. Most all purchasers enumerate the quirks and difficulties encountered in installation.Yet, most if not all finish their comments by saying that they only wish they had done it sooner!! Why don't they improve the instructions?? How tough can that be?? I'd like to invest in a set to start off my tractor owning saga. Am I likely to run into any predictable problems installing on 2002 TC40D with telescopic lower link?? I should be taking delivery at end of March and would like to get things lined up. Ha Ha, that's a joke. Maybe not a good one!! A little quidance would be appreciated. Thanks

If apt spends two minutes reading this thread she will realize they are losing sales.
Me especially do not want problems with installs, and when everyone on the planet says " the instructions are miserable" - I say no way am I going to buy the product. Granted everyone did figure it out, but with my luck I'd be throwing the whole shootin match in the rubbish.

The instructions were redone a little over a year ago. We strived to address all concerns. They now have illustrations, which makes it a lot simpler. We have put them on our website so you can review them before purchasing. I will be happy to email or fax them to anyone that wants them. If anyone has any more suggestions on how to make them more user friendly, just let us know. Thank you for all your past and future patronage.

My cat 2's shipped today and I am anxious to get them on my Mahindra 5005 DI. I couldn't believe Pat would ship without payment but he wants me to get them before I pay and check them out. Hard to find anyone like that anymore! He shipped my canopy yesterday and I hope to get it tomorrow.

It came yesterday. Installed it in about 20 minutes and it works great. Did 3 implement changes in about the time it took me to do one without it. Also put the canopy on Saturday and love it. The Texas sun is going to have to work harder to get to me.

Did you get the canopy from Pat? That's on my list, but I want to see what one looks like attached, don't want some gaudy hardware if I can get away from it. I've seen some canopys that I like, just can't get past the universal type attachment hardware that comes with some of them. If Pat is selling them now, I'll be there to get a cup of the first pot of coffee in the morning.

I am interested in PEC system for NH TC40DA with the deluxe telescoping lower link arms. I haven't been able to confirm through my NH dealer whether PEC will work for me. Any help??

Hi Pat and Vicki,

I purchased your easy change system and stabilizer bar last week. Installation was simple and the system works so well I don't know how I would get along without it. It works well with the regualr 3-pt equipment and with the PTO units as well. Now all I have to do is back up the tractor to the GM and hook up-- what an improvement over having to manually lift the mower to get it aligned properly with the tractor. Makes changing attachments a breeze. Thanks again.

Hi Folks I am mostly a lurker here and enjoy the post.

I just have a one acre lot and a ford 4000. The tractor is used to move my 7000 # boat into and out of the shed. It is also used to grade my drive way and other chores.

I have a 4ft. landpride brush hog, the price was right $140, but I did have to do some welding on the metal work. The housing was in pretty poor shape but the gear box is good. The other implements I have built.

I have been thinking about the Pat's quick hitch and I would like to know how thick the hook that the the impletment lift pin hooks into is. Will I have to replace all of the implement lift pins to make this quick hitch work. The present system is a Cat 1.

Also I read in the thread post, and they were pretty up beat about the quick hitch system, that the latching mechisum is spring loaded. What kind of a spring does this use and how does the spring work.? Is it a readly replaceable item?

Thanks for any information that you might give me.

Charlie,

The hook is 1-1/4 wide material. We tried to make it pretty close to the width of the balls on the tractors, so you don't have to change your pins. You just install the hitches and put your lynch pin washers (3 pair are included) on your implement pins and your ready. The springs are made of stainless steel and under the handle to keep them out of the weather as much as possible. You can replace them if needed, just contact me and I will take care of it.
