single player to recognize an opportunity and intercept. Those guys are atheletes, and it shows. - like that fumble that never reached the ground!

One play bothered me. I thought the refs purposefully did a bad call. 1st half and the Pats were leading. The Seahawks weren't connecting on passes. They threw to their guy, he backed over the line then came forward to make the catch- going up and landing 3' short of the first down line. A Pat grabbed him and flipped him back over his head behind him. The refs called it a first down. The momentum seemed to shift from that point. It was almost ordained that the Seahawks were the winners and the refs were their helpers when they were able to.

The Edleman penalty of 10 yards when the Pats were on the move was another questionable one.

I'm not a football guy- streamed this game to my computer to watch it, but refs are human and play favorites. The Patriots were not the favored team! It makes their win all the more sweet.

Both teams were impressive.

I thought the first draft commercial was great. Noah drafting all the stuff. 3 announcers broadcasting and commenting. Sloth. Dodo bird pick. The polar bear wearing the sombrero trying to get Mexico to draft him. Great stuff.

But I am in the minority as it was only #20 in the USA Today poll.

I guess you can't beat a cute puppy and protective horses.

Now that you mention it, I guess I'm a sucker for almost any animal in a commercial. The sprint ad with the screaming goat and the Jackass were also in my wheel house.

That play call gave it away.

1 yard, 2 downs and a timeout in the back pocket. Seahawks wouldn't go away and made a heck of a stand. Incredible catch to get them close.

All I can say is WOW. What was the Seahawk's coaching staff thinking? One of the best running backs in the league and you pass on the 1 yard line on 2nd down? The Pat's didn't win, this game was given to them. Someone should lose their job over that blunder. The amazing catch that got them there and then a stupid move like this.

Hated to see the deflategate cheaters win.

The whole Seahawk's coaching staff should be immediately fired for the stupidest play on NFL history! :confused2:

Oddly enough, there are tons of Giants fans in New England, for an odd reason.

NE fans rooted for the Giants before the AFC existed. Then back when the Patriots were terrible, they were usually blacked out on TV so those fans watched the Giants. I can distinctly remember watching Yelbertson "YA" Tittle. So while long-time Patriots fans weren't happy to lose, of course, there is no animus towards the Giants. Personally, I love to see the Patriots beat the snot out of the Bears, for example, as well as San Diego.

I guess this one got banned? Carl's Junior and GoDaddy both have put out ads that were designed to be banned from tv, and thus becoming viral hits. This one has nearly 7 million web hits.
