Parts Cleaner solution suggestions

I use a Parts cleaner solution I bought at the Parts store (mineral spirits)...and its ok but I am wondering....What works for you? Diesel?

Varsol (mineral spirits)

Some of the true parts washer solvents like Safety Kleen and graymills Super Agitine may work "better" but not enough to make a difference to the average person on here for the most part considering the increased cost

I never used anything but Varsol in my parts washer when I was repairing/rebuilding air tools.

I've never had a "parts washing" set up as such, but have washed a lot of ordinary stuff with kerosene and even gasoline if I wanted it dry. I 'll bet that there are better ways, especially if it is a critical rebuild/maintenance.

Citra-Safe (citrus based solvent)

I use Citra-Safe on my shop floor once a year for spring clean up. For My parts washer it's diesel and a little tranny fluid or marvel mystry oil added!
