Okay guys , here's the deal
I have a 2005 6500 4WD that has been used to death . This weekend something went bad in the engine , sounds like it wrecked a valve (hope that's all) . How hard is it to get reman or maybe new parts ? I have a dealer close to me and they say not too bad but I want some feedback from more in the know . Thanks

never had to get any major engine parts, but have gotten ring and pinion gears, front drive shaft, fuel filter housing, etc. with no wait times.

Next question , Anyone have a repair manual handy for this model ? Pulled the valve cover valve lash is way out of wack . Need the specs for that . Valves seem to have a lot of play in the guides , gonna end up pulling the head and going thru it . Mechanic friend wants to try adjusting the valves first tho just to see if it helps any . Appreciate any help I can get from everyone !
