Pallets in fields

I’ve tried to save pallets to reuse but suffered from pallet rot. Cheap wood I guess.

Coincidently a friend sent me a text today asking if I wanted his excess pallets, otherwise he would "get rid of them". I will have to check the fields around his place next time I am there.

I had a stack just like that in the pasture beside our house. Ended up letting the neighbor have them. So at the feed store the other day I grabbed three pallets and took em home. Put em in pasture where the others had been because, well, you know, we just need pallets in the field.

Keep an eye on them. Untended piles tend to breed and multiply (I don't know about the 'divide' bit).
