I am not even sure there was ever a Sparc......

The only people who would vilify him are the Fun Police :clown::cop:

We can close this thread. Sadly the pallets all caught the Coronavirus and they all passed away.

No. Old 'sparc' is still active on TBN, he just pulled the ultimate 'drop and leave' question/thread.

He's never been tempted to add to his original thread. It's stood the test of time and will continue as we explore the wonderful world of pallets.

Crop dusting at its best.

Yes, it adds to the mystery. Kinda like a guy who starts a barroom brawl but quickly crawls under a table to watch it all.

Yeah, or like the guy I knew who let a fart just as he stepped out of a crowded elevator and the doors were closing on a hot August day...

Because he didn't have the "stones" to stop and ask a farmer why in Hotel Echo Lima Lima do you stack those pallets that way? Just a lightweight. Feather merchant.

"that's not right"

Kinda like chunky milk and carpet showers.

Or when your alone on a grocery aisle then folks come down that aisle so you go to the next and listen.

Just make sure it's actually RECYCLED, not just re-used. While re-use is higher up the chain than recycle*. it's not for everything...

The Golden Rule is:

1. REDUCE
2. REUSE
3. RECYCLE

Or something that recycles TP! That's the way of the future. Recycling!

That's all well and good, just remember the poor SOB who has to go retrieve all of that used toilet paper.

Used to be a job in the past only for urine... tanneries would collect your 'overnight' pot. Unsure about them using any 'nightsoil' in the leather tanning process, but they definitely used (and payed for) urine.

We also had the 'Dunnyman' who would collect from the outhouses (a 'dunny') on a regular rounds.

Recycle urine by dumping it on your compost pile, free nitrogen fertilizer

Leather tanning, yes, and it can also be used with other ingredients in a process to make nitrates, one of the 3 ingredients to black powder. Potassium nitrate. You have to boil the "nightsoil" to skim off nitrates too. Can you imagine a big boiling cauldron of "nightsoil"? For those of you just itching to make your own black powder, be advised the process is fraught with danger and it takes a lot of "the stuff" to make what you want, and don't forget the sulphur and the charcoal. Then the "corning" process to make really good black powder is not super easy either. Every step along the way is either unpleasant or dangerous or both.
