Pallets in fields

This discussion has run long enough that most pallets would be rotted out by now.
That's the amazing thing about them... mine take a licking and keep on ticking. I have a bunch of paver blocks holding down a fleet of them.

Same here. Wife wanted back yard patio made of pavers. Two years later I take them all up and we have deck built. Pavers on pallets in pasture. So far they haven't tried that inverted V thing yet. Keeping an eye on them.

Does a pallet taste like chicken if you cook it? Can you cook them in the smoker?

I'm glad you chose to use the word "Most"..... I'm not sure if they have labeled a "grammarist faction" or not in here.....have they?

I wood think them more closely resembling jerky-esque 'at best' given the propensity for being smoked or roasted. I wood also forecast and exceedingly high fiber content too.

kAnd meanwhile they are sneaking into the house:

pallet bed - Google Search

That doesn't seem to work. Searh "Pallet bed"

Sheesh, you don't want to see all the Pinterest "stealth pallet" uses in home, in garage, in patio use, in making chicken coops or lean-tos.......

We collect boxes as well. They stack up until we get a pallet load, then burn the entire pile, with the pallet. If one listens carefully you can hear the pallet scream out in pain. The burned up pallet always seems to leave a nice supply of nails that seem to jump out and attack my tractor and mower tires.

Walmart boxes are by far the best, but they don't compare to any poorly made pallet. I'm sure that online buying is grossly adding to the box supply. Even termites avoid my pallet supply. The pallet supply usually comes from the 'feed store' at no charge. Strangely, the local hardware store wants to CHARGE $5 each. How dumb is that?

I wondered what it would take to bump this thread.
