Pallets in fields

Maybe this has already been discussed, I hate to go back and read all 218 pages to look, but do they irrigate in this area? Do they place sprinklers on top of a couple of pallets to get them higher in the air, then stack them as shown in the photos so they dry out and don't rot?

Some of the great mysteries in life are never solved? Who let the air out of the footballs? That's a much more serious and life altering question than these pallets.

As stated before, a scientist needs to review the literature. In this case, you would have to read just one message -- the first one.

As far as I know (not having been out in the middle of these fields) from driving by every day there is nothing out there that needs protection such as a irrigation pipe, so I can not figure out what purpose they serve.

Also, the OP said that the pallets were placed in fields that had been in soybeans among other crops. I doubt that farmers in NJ irrigate soybeans.

Well not the proper amount of air, Tom Brady deflated the pallets to 11 psi so they are better targets for his passes.

I went over there to look at the pallets yesterday and guess what?
They are gone!
