All I did was ask you what you feel he did to deserve it, and like most (or all) Obama fans, you cannot give an answer.
Thanks

That's your wing nut "gotcha?" Obama fans are responsible for reading the minds of the Nobel Committee members, or that we somehow control them and must justify their actions to you? Seriously? I think Obama deserves credit for several important things, but I'm not the one handing out the prizes.

Wing nuts can make up BS straw man questions about "what did he do to deserve it?" but that is not reality. The reality is that the Nobel can award their prize to whomever they wish for whatever they wish. Here is their official reason for awarding their prize. There is nothing else to know.

The Nobel Peace Prize for 2009 to President Barack Obama - Press Release
The Nobel Peace Prize for 2009
The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided that the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009 is to be awarded to President Barack Obama for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples. The Committee has attached special importance to Obama's vision of and work for a world without nuclear weapons.

Obama has as President created a new climate in international politics. Multilateral diplomacy has regained a central position, with emphasis on the role that the United Nations and other international institutions can play. Dialogue and negotiations are preferred as instruments for resolving even the most difficult international conflicts. The vision of a world free from nuclear arms has powerfully stimulated disarmament and arms control negotiations. Thanks to Obama's initiative, the USA is now playing a more constructive role in meeting the great climatic challenges the world is confronting. Democracy and human rights are to be strengthened.

Only very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world's attention and given its people hope for a better future. His diplomacy is founded in the concept that those who are to lead the world must do so on the basis of values and attitudes that are shared by the majority of the world's population.

For 108 years, the Norwegian Nobel Committee has sought to stimulate precisely that international policy and those attitudes for which Obama is now the world's leading spokesman. The Committee endorses Obama's appeal that "Now is the time for all of us to take our share of responsibility for a global response to global challenges."

Wagtail,
I don't see any circuits or microchips in the x-rays so, Olivia must be human after all. I still don't understand her strange looking belly button though. It must be some new kind of body modification that the young people are into. She appears to have a couple of other parts that aren't standard issue, as well.

I suppose a wing nut obama fan does not have the ability to to comprehend a post when it is requested of THEM what THEY FEEL why he was handed a nobel peace prize, nothing was said of how to interpret the committees intentions.....

This could be Steve, street string theorist in Stockholm, Sweden. He could have traveled to Stockholm to bribe the Nobel Committee, there is a history of that. Very similar to Olympic Ice Skate Judging.

ya, it did work for mr obama

You may want to check your facts on that.

Now, you want me to tell you why I think the Nobel handed out a prize without interpreting their intentions? Don't you think that would be impossible--which is what I have been trying to explain to you? The question is pure nonsense.

Beyond the borders of wing nut land, there is no need to interpret their intentions; they published their reasons and I posted them for you to read.

"The committee has said the selection was an endorsement of Obama's stated policies, and as encouragement for what his "extraordinary efforts" could do. So One Big A** Mistake America was awarded The peace prize for what he might do in the future not for anything he did in the few months that he was President. So Nobel how did that work out the wold is on fire because The USA gave the green light for thugs of the world do as they please without any repercussions.

And what dose this have to do with pallets in fields unless it is a intended distraction from IRS benghazi NSA Etc.

Well, there you go lilranch. One of your fellow wing nuts echoed it all back just for you. Now that you've found each other, you can go to the Friendly Politics chamber together. You will make a cute couple in your matching "I'm With Stupid" t-shirts.

I speculate that the pallets are being placed in NJ fields as a part of, Plan 10 from Outer Space. Aliens are coming to haul off something or other and they plan to load up with a fork lift.

Still following potential locations for Where In the World is Steve?

If Steve is following his idol Euler's path in life, he would have traveled from Switzerland to St. Petersburg, Russia. It's a big town to search. There was a local news story that could have been Steve:

fountain.jpg

It seems some tourist was gathering coins in the fountain. Language is a barrier of course, but I understood the tourist was yelling, "Currency must be in circulation to maintain bank liquidity!" It sure sounds like an economist's meltdown. Could have been the vodka. As you can see, he was dragged away. Hopefully Steve isn't residing in some Siberian gulag now.

I do appreciate the guidance: "Find the girls and Steve will be there." To that end, I will be checking out the renowned St. Petersburg body painting scene next.
