Pallets in fields

Well, I am surprised that no scientists have picked up on this item from the BBC: BBC News - Scientists count whales from space. I haven't read the link yet, but apparently we are being invaded by whales from outer space. I wonder if this has anything to do with Dave's "ley line" theory?
Steve

It's quite likely that the scientists working on this project are of the evil genius variety that has unleashed the goose drones on the world. They could well be tracking their whale drones that keep grounding themselves while following the ley lines.

Speaking of science, did you know that Cameron Diaz is a scientist? I didn't know until I read that she had written a science text: The Body Book: The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body. Apparently she makes a controversial scientific claim that you can read about here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/volokh-conspiracy/wp/2014/02/14/cameron-diaz-encourages-women-to-keep-their-xxxxx-xxxx-in-her-new-book/.

Please note that numerous scientists have commented on her claim. Make sure that you read all of the comments (46 at last count) -- some of the scientists make astute observations.

OK so from what I get from the title, women should purchase her book, then trim their private areas, and keep the remnants from said trimming in that book????
:confused3:

That is my understanding. However, you need to read the scientific comments on said claim.

When geese are flying in a V is that an inverted V??

A possible connection here to the pallet V .. The inverted V .. Scientist .. What say you???

Well, seeing as this phenomena is not present regarding domestic goose breeds, I'd say you're all embarking on a Wild Goose Chase!

I am pretty sure this thread has been a wild goose chase since December.......

No connection.

Recent research has confirmed that geese, and other fowl, fly in a V formation for purely aerodynamic, energy conserving reasons.

The appearance of the V formation is relative to the position of the observer and the apparent azimuth of the flight path. Geese flying toward the observer will appear as a somewhat upright V, while geese flying away will appear as an inverted V.

Along with this ability to create optical illusions, some of the drones are thought to have a cloaking. More research is needed.

I have to do all the work. :muttering: How am I supposed to research cloaked, invisible geese?

Canada is at war with the geese (the geese will win):

Canada, a nation seemingly ****-bent on confirming every national stereotype leveled against them, has begun ordering drone strikes against clusters of pesky geese. Evidently, geese have been invading the shores of the Ottawa River, which runs through the nation's capital. The birds have been pooping in the water and raising the E. coli levels in the river, a serious hazard for casual bathers

To combat the avian delinquents, the city of Ottawa has been deploying a hexacopter, a 26-inch-wide remote-controlled drone equipped with loudspeakers, to harass the birds each morning. According to city councilor Bob Monette, who oversees the project, the hexacopter has been really effective. Since the start of the program in July, the number of geese on the river's beaches has dropped from hundreds to a few dozen.

The idea for the program came about when the owner and operator of the drones, Steve Wambolt, was pitching aerial photography services to Monette when the councilor began inquiring about other uses for the drones. Wambolt modified his drones, removing the cameras and attaching speakers to play the sounds of low-flying predators, and the drone war was launched.

The $30,000 program will continue through October and is expected to be renewed next year.

This goose is taking the Red Eye from Vancouver to Ottawa. Or maybe it's a goose drone with cloaking disabled?
