Pallets in fields

I didn't want to mention it but recently I put two nice looking double length pallets at the end of the driveway by the road and when I woke up the next morning they were gone. Just gone. Worse, there were fresh truck tracks next to where they had been along with footprints. I figure an accomplice had arranged to meet them there are they made a break for it. Beats me.

Maybe they were kidnaped and pressed into military service?

I would never steal a pallet... or anything else for that matter. I've always asked.

That's disturbing because I see the guy that's "walking point" has comrades all up and down the roads around here, even a few of them surrounding my place. The patrol must be well camouflaged as I don't see them. Or maybe its a huge underground operation taking place.

I had a pallet reach out and scrape the back of my calf today... drew blood! If it weren't stacked with a bunch of pavers, I would have sacrificed it to the gods.

Pushing 3000 posts, and ole Sparc, is not to be found. And he never had to stones to stop and ask the guy. "hey buddy, why do you stack those pallets in an inverted V configuration out there in your field?" Nope..never did it, and ain't gonna.....

Sparc made his last TBN post back in May of this year. Although I still hold out hope that he will make the inquiries needed to satisfy our quest for scientific knowledge, I am not optimistic.

What we need is for TBN members in NJ to make a systematic search of their state to (a) locate inverted-v pallet formations and (b) make local inquiries as to the purpose(s) of those formations.

Odd that he starts the thread about mysterious pallets in his field and then vanishes. You have to wonder if any of those pallets looked Russian.
