<font color="blue"> I had to get in the car and go out after just one quart.

And I'll bet you paid quite a bit more for that last quart than for the previous ones /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif...

Sounds like you're almost done, but one thing that I finally tried was one of those Power Rollers. For what you're doing it probably wasn't too bad since you could reach the ceiling with an extension, but my ceilings are too high - have to use The Big Ladder. Anyway, I just hooked that sucker straight up to my 5 gallon bucket and painted away. Only had to come down to move the ladder.

And when it came time to paint the walls, that thing allowed me to absolutely fly. They claim you can put on something like a gallon a minute. I don't see how (and still do a decent job), but it is fast.

Well after 5 gal primer and 5 gal of paint the ceiling is done
Now if I could just find where I could buy a new back /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I looks ok and reflecks the light down ( using 100 watt light blubs ) Now for over head ceiling lights. it never ends

Now the wife wants me to put in a small kennel and use just some of the garage for storage. hmmm /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

My wife's mom just came up for a visit. Had a great time, and she was kind enough to frame a couple of portraits that a friend had done. Just got the hallway painted (I need a new back, too - let me know if you find a good source /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif), and hung the pictures in there. Next thing you know, we're talking about changing the lighting from the spots that are in there now to track lighting to highlight the pictures.

Ah, it is a lot of work but does look nice when it is done. If it ever will be completed /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif...

Bummer.

Hope you feel well enough to put up a good fight with your "mean" wife and she lets you back in the garage soon. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

In the end, don't rush your recovery.

Doug,
By all means, do as the Doc and the bat wielding wife says and take it easy. I have had 2 heart attacks and thats the reason for owning my tractor now.......less hard labor.
Those lights will be there when you're ready
