Paint

I did a search and didnt come up with what I needed so here goes. Is there any place to purchase kubota paint like they sell in tsc or farm and fleet in Quart cans. My kubota dealer only sells spray cans and touch up. Thanks for any help.

My dealer carries Kubota paint in quart cans. Not sure if they do mail order, but you can give them a call if you want.

Don't know if they carry <font color=orange>Kubota</font color=orange> paint in quart or gallon sizes {they say they do?}, but give them a call... they have other goodies for ya... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Bought Qt cans from my local dealer. Brite Orange II for my newer 'Bota. Paint is high quality and sprays very nicely with either regularl paint thinner or acetone for thinner. Acetone is the VOC compliant thinner here in NJ.

You might try Carver Equip., pretty sure they carry the paint.

I bought Rust-oleum "Farm & Equipment" #7458 Orange at TSC for closeout 60% off at $3 a quart can and $1 for spray cans.

I put a dab on my toolbox to see how well it matches, and now I can't find the dab. The can says Allice Chalmers, but it matches my new kubota color exact. It also paints very glossy.

I now have five quarts of the stuff.

Check it out.

Remember, just because Kubots parts have outrageous price tags does not mean they are really better than any one elses parts. It just means Kubota wants more profit margin on their parts. Also, the paint used in the factory is prossibly two part paint that is higher quality than what thes sell at the dealer.

Im going to look at that rustoleum orange in tsc since its just down the raod. It would be nice if they had a cross reference. I do have the kubota II touchup paint I could match it with. If not Ill give Carvers a call. I just seem to have a hard time getting parts from my dealer.
