Paint for tractor

Does anyone know how to find the exact paint color for their tractor as it was painted originally? I have a 1999 NH 3930 and I repainted a couple of parts with some grey tractor paint but it doesn’t match exactly the color of the original paint.
I an kind of particular or would like to find the exact color of the tractor when new.

how can I do this and where would be the best place to buy it?

The dealer could probably provide a paint code, then you can have it custom mixed at places like Sherwin Williams or NAPA.

The NH dealer may actually have some on the shelf (NOS)

How particular are you? Even paint from the dealer will not be an exact match. That tractor is over twenty years old and has probably spent a bit of time in the weather. If you want an exact match you will probably need to deal with a local body shop where they can tint paint for a precise match.

If there is a piece of metal the color you are seeking that can be removed....most auto body or paint stores have a color spectrometer for color matching. Fuel door works for cars and trucks.

Just paint the whole thing red or green...
