I think we in the PNW are in for a real cold snap this coming week. Hard to believe what they are predicting for the Spokane area.

Not really surprising considering the current alignment in the weather pattern currently. In SWVa Christmas will be in the 60s. Low pressure west coast high pressure east coast

So we'll probably get it in January.

What are they predicting? I was in Salem, Oregon in January 1973, when it hit 13 below. In the era before insulation, that caused a lot of plumbing damage. I saw one house where a water heater explosion lifted the roof off, blew the side walls out 6", and set the roof back down, all for the cost of a PRV.

13 to 18 degrees F for a high for several days after Christ mas and single digits for low temps a couple days. Just north of The Dalles Oregon.
My other place in Colville is expected to have single digits for a high and -10 or there abouts for low temps. Rushing to get the Colville property shut in so things don't freeze up.

In Sedro Woolley where I moved from they are predicting eight inches of snow over the weekend followed by cold, down to two degrees Monday morning. Here in the north Okanogan they are predicting 3 inches of snow and 12 below on Monday morning. I doubt I will be clearing much snow next week on an open station tractor with the highs in the single digits all week.
