ToolCat, rev. C: I struggled through two years of mis- and un- diagnosed drive motor failure. With help from a member of this forum, I replaced both hydraulic motors last winter.

It's growing season, starting to rely on ToolCat again. Over last two years I had stored my Bobcat BrushCat mower (heavy, heavy tool) in the most inconvenient position in my shop because I never used it as my ToolCat never had the motive force to move it effectively.

Anyway, with new drive motors I'm using the ToolCat again this Spring and it is.....well, a BEAST!

I mowed blackberries at a commercial farm last weekend. Periphery around 33 acres. Some bushes were nine feet tall. Just drove/mowed straight into and through them. Running turf tires, never experienced this before: ToolCat impressive forward force, throwing dirt, digging into it

Lots of fun but in my exuberance last weekend I learned about the BrushCat's shear pin. Don't hear about this very often but if anyone ever needs the scoop on BrushCat shear pin, I've got that number. Cheers.

Hey Chris,
You must have have the metal filing issue too. It wasn't until Bobcat replaced the drive motors that I stopped having problems with mine.
