OK guys here goes, I live in southern Minnesota. I farm 250 acres of corn, soybeans, small grains, and hay. Have a 30 cow beef herd, raise the calves to market weight, also have 25 sows and raise all the pigs to market weight. Most of the corn goes to feeding the livestock, but have some soybeans to sell on the open market. Raised 4 kids and none wanted to farm, so it is just me and ma working the farm. My big tractor is a 2-135 White (140 hp) that I do the heavy work, also a 2030 JD with loader, a '48 M JD that my dad bought new, a 730 JD diesel that is still in service, and oh yeah a '48 M Farmall. The combine I use is a '69 105 corn special, diesel/hydro. The Oliver got sold a friend of mine and is still a pretty good old tractor. The new Kubota will be the last tractor I sell, and that will be when they plant me. Hope this gives you a little info about my operation. Dave Preuhs, Le Center, Mn.
