Ornamental grass/wheat recommendation

Have some areas where I can't mow (steep hillside) and want to plant something that will be pretty as it grows high.

Any suggestions?

One area is part shade, another is full shade

Clover!! I have the same situation. Clover!! Only grows a little over knee high and flowers nicely,.. also it holds the ground very well.
