I'm still not sure who doesn't get it, and who just wants to argue semantics.

No, there physically isn't a brake rotors/pads on the front wheels.

But like I said, none on rear wheels either.

Doesn't need to be. Brakes....anywhere in the system....will act upon anything that is connected. In 2wd....that's just the rears. In 4wd....that's ALL 4.

So you want "4-wheel braking"....yep you get that in 4wd.
Some just want to argue the semantics if someone says "4-wheel brakes" rather than "braking".

Same, Deutz, Landini, Lamborghini and a couple others from the same group actually have front wheel brakes on their tractors above 50 HP.

They incorporate the brake lines into the front diff, then just run a flexible hose to the wheel so it flexes when turning.

Cool. There's some CUTs that automatically go into 4wd when the brake is applied, so there's braking force on the front wheels. I think Deere has some models that do this.

I had an exciting moment on the old Kubota when going down my steep paved driveway in the rain and I forgot to put it in 4wd. Applied the brakes and the rears locked up without slowing the tractor at all. Fortunately the slope levels off a bit before the gate or I'd have hit it.

Oh heck.
Never go down hill other than in 4wd as your engine will use compression to control the decent.
I've driven down hill with FEL loaded and the rears simply skipped and hopped as there was not enough weight for rear brakes to react, solution was drop the bucket to slow me down.
After brown shorts I'd learned my lesson so down hill is always in 4WD for me now.
