You betcha, have the invoice in my hands.
LVB24810 KIT, MOWER/HITCH DRAFT ARMS
Allows you to install the 7-iron MMM with the A frame front hitch on at the same time.

Billyvan, can you post a pic of the new mower/hitch draft arms? I am still contemplating ordering them, but I wanted to see how they look first.

It's now been almost six months I've had my 3120, I now have 140 some hours on it. It suits my grass cutting needs very well, does a great job on my RC runway where I cut it very short. The ability to mulch with the 7-iron II is very impressive. I moved a lot of dirt this summer changing my landscaping, because now I can! The most impresive implement is my Sitrex tiller. I recently had about an acre of bush cleared with a cat, after raking up some of the roots and picking a few rocks I was able to run the tiller throught it. Have tilled it up a few times now, it really chews up the roots well. Will turn it into grass next year. Also extended the length and width of my runway, used the tiller to chew up a few hills out there to make it level. Tough to land a plane on a hill! The only test left is to see how it works plowing snow in the winter here. My front frame mounted blade is what I will use for that. If I get drifted in I always have the loader, I was able to dig into a hard pile of sandy clay with it this summer and I don't even have a tooth bar. So I expect hard drifted snow should be no issue. I do have a 1/4 mile of open driveway though, would hate to have to clear it all with a loader! I bought chains for my turf tires. There wasn't much clearance on the inside of the wheel wells so I turned all four of my tires around to the "wide" position as the manual calls it. Valve stems to the inside. Makes my tractor about six inches wider and tons of room for the rear chains. I like the extra stability as well and will leave it like that since it still fits in between any obstacles that I mow in between. It's been a great machine! Very happy with it. Only problem I had once was the cruise control quit. Got an error 5 message which says it thinks the break is on. Found the brake switch under the pedal came out of align. Simple easy fix and all is well. I'd recomend a 3XXX JD to anyone looking for a good little yard tractor. :D

Don't your front tires hit the MMM on hard turns?

Not at all, not even close. Or do you mean when having the front tires in the wide positon? Don't think I have mowed yet with all the tires in the wide position. But when I mow around the house I turn as sharp as it goes with no problem, in the narrow position. And it is amazing how sharp these machines can turn. However when I do turn that sharp and the ground is soft, sometimes the front castors will do a little damage to the lawn if you don't lift the deck up a little. If it is a problem with the front tires in the wide position I will put them back to the valve stems out. And just leave the rear tires in the wide position. The only reason I changed them around was to allow for the rear chains anyway. I don't have chains for the front tires.

Yes I meant interference with the fronts in Wide position. On reading your post I thought you had used the MMM after setting all four wheels to wide. I did that with mine and the fronts hit when Wide, but the Rears are OK. Have used most of this grass season with Front -Narrow, Rear - Wide.

I was just wondering if you had discovered some way to have the Fronts set wide and avoid MMM interference.

Thanks

Hmm, I will have to watch for that in the spring. I won't be cutting the grass now until about May. We haven't had any white stuff yet but it won't be long. The front end looks kinda funny with the tires in the wide position anyway. I will likely end up doing the same thing you did. Thanks for the heads up there Cinder.

I was going to get a 3120, but the dealer I went to, didn't have one, so he priced me a 3520 for less than other dealers priced the 3120. So I got it. It has a turbo on it, and really has a lot of torque. There have been times I have needed the extra power and I like the little turbo. Looks like a hair dryer. They are a nice size tractor and I have found mine to be even more useful than I thought it would be. Wish I had more time to use it.

Congradulations JD You will be happy with it I'm sure. Yes always best to get more than one quote. I had three and there were some huge differences.
