ORC questions

I had a quick disconnect with mine and was satisfied.

Ya, I guess there is not much need for one with an auger.

Once I install an ORC, I never take it off. I don't have any equipment that interferes with it. [disc harrow, renovator, boxblade etc.] It certainly dosen't "hurt" anything to leave it on as long it isn't in the way of anything.

The roll pin is a tight fit, it's made that way for a reason. It has to be perfectly lined up to go in though. I back up the underside with a sledge hammer or somthing hard to start the pin, once it starts it goes in easier.

Sledge hammer back-up sounds like good advice. using brass hammer/hardwood buffer to drive pin NO? when I drive roll pin (slow/soft beating)100 easy taps/VS/5 hard taps. otherwise it expands and I never get it in there/ drift out/ throw pin away start over new pin? How about digging in the bolt bin, find tite fit bolt? spin w/drill&emory bolt on unthreaded shank part of bolt if neccesary? remove easy? allways try to keep drive line as straight as possible especially when in strain works for me? my 2cents.
