Orange Protection Plan

Has anyone ever checked into price on the Kubota extended warranty Orange Protection program for their RTV? What is a ballpark cost?

The Orange Protection is available only to Private Homeowners. The cost is:
RTV500 - $750.00 / 1 year no hour limit
$1400.00 / 2 years no hour limit
RTV900/1100/1140 - $825.00 / 1 year no hour limit
$1600.00 / 2 years no hour limit
Sales tax may apply if you are not AG exempt

Thats pretty painful given how reliable these machines are. I paid around $1,000 for a bumper to bumper factory warranty extension for 4 years 100K on a $42,000 2011 GMC...Kinda makes my truck warranty look cheap.

Their insurance plan is a very good deal though.

Not sure what this Orange Protection Plan is but the Kubota insurance on my new RTV1140 is around $10 a month.

Orange Protection is an extended warranty.

Thats pretty painful given how reliable these machines are. I paid around $1,000 for a bumper to bumper factory warranty extension for 4 years 100K on a $42,000 2011 GMC...Kinda makes my truck warranty look cheap.

Their insurance plan is a very good deal though.

That's what I'm thinking, given that most likely I wont need huge repairs soon I guess I'll take the risk. $750 is a good payment toward any repairs I may need.:thumbsup:
