Do any of you than own an LS feel that the seating position (even adjusted to the stiffest and farthest back) is still too soft, too low and too forward? If so, what have y'all done to get a better seat position?

I've been on a few tractors lately since I'm looking to buy a new one and they all seem cramped to me but the LS much more so. I am a big man and the Kubotas, Mahindras, Deeres, etc., that I've been on felt about as I expected but I don't think I could operate the LS without some 4" spacers under the seat mounts and adding another or heavier spring to the ride adjuster. In fact, my petite 5' nothing wife told me that it was just right for her.

Which model are you looking at?

The stock seat on the S3010 has no suspension to speak of for a guy like me (220 lbs) so I had to get something better. It was already a pretty tight fit before and got even tighter after the change out. I got used to it though.

I'm an old guy that is fading farther away with age at 5'8', 140#. No problem for me with my R4010. Good thing, because I can use the space behind the seat for gloves and stuff.

Yes...I keep turning the spring stiffener and I keep bottoming out...I haven't hit the end yet though so I still might be ok.

I'm a lil cramped on mine,I have a 3010 and although I'm not a big guy I am 6'3" tall so my biggest problem is cramps in my right leg from twisting around looking at the box blade when doing alot of grade work. I dont really see anything I can do to help my situation,,I just got used to it(or deal with it)like L.B.T said.
