Operation in 4 Wheel Drive?

They are listed as "Right harf shaft cone gear" and Left harf shaft cone gear".

Remember orientals often use R for L, if you pronounce this the way it is spelled it will sound correct, but if you spell it right and prononce it with an oriental accent, it will sound as it is spelled.

that was good. We needed a little humor to get away from this stretch of imagination of the front diff being a limited, locker or anything else than a regular"conventional" "open" differential.
Its a open diff. Leave it at that. If you see both front wheels spinning at same time its just that you have close to equal traction on both wheels so of course both will spin. If you simulate zero resistance like "BlueChip" stated you will get a true example of this. One will do all the spinning while one sits stationary. BlueChip is CORRECT. All these tractor have "conventional front diffs. The rear "May" have a diff lock feature but they should not be operated on hard nonslip surfaces.
So with all this discussion, can we finally all agree that we agree that operating on hard/nonslip surfaces in 4WD is not a good idea?
Unless of course if you maybe believe there is a "Mad Scientist Chinese Engineer (named, Won Hung LO )running around China tractor factories putting limited slip diffs in selected tractors".
All these China tractors use real old technology that is proven and thats why I love it. If you can't fix this stuff you have no business even holding a wrench.
