I cannot remember how I ran into this site, but I've really used it often for DIY projects. Might have been mentioned here already, but even so, it's worth repeating.

Great resource IFyou know what you're doing. Potentially dangerous or costly if you are not qualified to verify the validity of the results. For example, there is a calculation for pressure drop in a pipe. I would assume that it is for water at standard conditions, but there is no mention of the fluid type, and the loss will vary significantly if the fluid is something else. Don't use it to size a pump, because it doesn't account for the static head if the discharge point is above the inlet point.

just type "50 bar in psi" in google, and you get an instant result.
You can even do "50 dollar in Euro" and you get a pretty good result, though no rights can be claimed as results may be off a week or so from the actual course...

It depends on what kind of holiday you're taking... if its an adventurous holiday to Europe, something like bungee jumping, you might need to buy some new underwear
