Here in NY our temps have been similar to what we see in Jan. Also had our 1st snowfall that stuck around longer than ever before. If this whole winter is like this we are in for a doozy.

Well our second accumulating storm of the season,
4" of wet slop on top of an not frozen driveway,
plus I haven't put the chains on as I have quite abit I'd like to do before it gets froze up.
Ended up running the bucket curled back just about a half inch from flat,
pushing 50-60 feet then sweeping it to the side and over the bank, got just a
bit iffy a couple times backing back up but it was soft enough it chewed a bit and got to dirt.
Five passes to clear 3 buckets width took awhile.

ohhhh yeah.... Looks like turkey day is going to be fun.

We are actually up to "normal" temps now instead of being 20 degrees below the norm.....wow, heat wave. Time to finish up moving summer mowers out to the far shed and pull the garden tractor batteries.

It's been cloudy, rainy and between 40 and 45 for over 24 hours now and probably will be for at least another 12 hours. Not exactly horrible, but not very pleasant in any way either.

Well I did some prep work the day before thanksgiving, have been just having my sand dumped in a pile, made a bunker for this year.
Actually had more sand left then I released but had a load delivered any ways, all tarped down and ready to go.
Chains on the loader tractor and sander truck kind of ready for this coming storm.
