Old style wire ripper

Anyone have one of these? I bought it from a local electrical supply house back in the late 1980's when I was working for an electrician and I haven't seen one like it since then. I'd like to get my hands on a new one because once the little razor blade breaks or wears down to nothing I'll have to get another kind of ripper unless I can find a new blade to replace it. I've gotten so used to using this one that I'd like to see if there are any more out there.

I have something similar that I have had since the 80's as well.(without the top piece) I believe that I have seen similar strippers at Home Depot though I don't do that kind of work now so do not pay attention.

You stripping copper for salvage sale scrap metal value? Seen a home made unit uses one of the cheap china brake line flare makers on you tube. Take the two halfs and put a single sided razor blade in between the two halfs. so that just the tip sets in the hole for the 3/16 brake line and pull/push the wire thru splits the insulation pretty good.

There's nothing like this out there and I'm surprised I can't even find evidence of it on the internet. I don't care for the rippers on the market today because they're just not designed as well as this one was. I'm not scrapping copper, I just wondered if this thing is still out there somewhere because I still do electrical work for myself and others on occasion. Thanks for the replies.

Have you checked the klien website? They have something similar in appearance but may not be the same. I believe theirs is for stripping box or ac90.
