Junk seller had an older trailer sprayer that I got for $40. Faded tag says Fimco LG 15 A. Can't read the S/N. Pictures later if requested.

Tires are derimmed, so I'll have to work on them later. Frame is intact but aged. No boom sprayer unit, but it has the mounts for one. Tank is in good shape and holding fluid. Pump was seized. Opened that all up, scraped and filed the rust off the stator and housing. Put it all back together and it runs smooth.

Hoses were all fubared and jury-rigged. I can't find a picture of this unit. Only the newer versions which have a manifold to select boom or wand, plus what looks like a tank return. Mine has a port in the top of the tank that one of the messed up hoses went to, so it must also be a return. I was able to get things routed so I get pressure at the wand with no leaks. Puts out a good stream of 20 feet or more and the nozzles adjusts to a fine fan.

I need to figure out how this hose routing should be. I'll probably contact Fimco and see what they can offer. I kind of like the new style manifold, so I'll be pricing those.

New ones are showing around $275, so I guess $40 plus some elbow grease and head scratching wasn't too bad. Not sure I'll ever need the boom, but I'll see what they cost.

3/4 Tank Agitator, Poly (Nylon) | Agri Supply 22769

Here are typical old school sprayer regulator, agitator and manifold valve. This manifold style has been around at least 50 years. Typical plumbing would be from the bottom of the tank to a 50+- mesh strainer to the pump and then to the manifold. Outlets from manifold to up to 3 boom sections. Regulator would screw into the return port of the manifold and have a gauge attached. Return would go into the top or bottom of tank and connect to a submerged agitator. Bypassed product returns to tank and keeps the mix agitated.
I hope this is what you were asking for.
Teejet is a major supplier for tips, nozzle bodies and sprayer parts along with Fimco. Both are widely available. AgriSupply came up when I searched for the manifold, they are good to do business with.

The agitator is probably what's missing. The port I was calling the return is a hole in the top of the tank with a plastic fitting that has crumbled to dust. Inside that was a brass tube (almost like a stiffener), but nothing was attached to it going back into the tank. Fluid just poured back in.

The output of the pump went into a hose bib wye/shutoff. One hose from there went to this port and the other went to a hose with no end that was probably meant for the boom.

Looks like I need to do some reading.
