Old John Deere question...

Hey guys,

We have an old John Deere Model "G" back in the shop we are totally restoring for a customer and I have several questions for anyone who knows anything about this machine or if anyone can give me the number to someone who does that would be wonderful.

Not sure I 'know' what you need to know, but I as a boy used to drive one on the farm, and used it on a PTO driven baler to do custom baling of hay for several other farmers. Sure wish it had live power, but it didn't. Pretty good power there, however.
Plowed, disced, harrowed, cultivated, planted with it, among about everything else (had an older 'A' with the flywheel start to haul manure to the fields).

What is the question?

Several tech. questions about building the motor, taking the flywheel off, etc.

Can't help with that, as I only recall it having a lock-nut, and a couple retaining bolts, then using a wheel puller. THEN having a heavy hunk-o- steel to slide off.

Any chance you can get an I&T Shop Manual for this? I saw some at my Deere dealer the other day, and would think the 'G' would be available.
