Tractor
Ford 4400
New guy, old ford 4400, brush hogging and bucket work, just want to the tractor working. Son just ran it out of fuel, so looking for info on bleeding the fuel system. Is the downloadable manual a good resource? Thanks Terry

welcome

and first off fill the tractor completly up with fuel then on the top of the fuel filter housing there is a 9/16 head bleader screw remove until fuel flows out of it. then bleed the pump it has a 5/16 head screw located on the side of the pump right below where the top cover bolts on it will be towards the back of the pump. then loose all three injector lines and crank the tractor over until u get fuel out off the injector lines

OR.. to save the wear and tear on the battery and starter..... bleed it as WD said, don't loosen the injectors, and if it's a manual tranny.. simply tow it. it'll pop off way faster than bleeding out the injectors manually
