Sorry, profile filled out now. Had wife post pictures, cause just learning, old guy here. Will try again over weekend when wife back home. Thx for your response. Also what are small segmented copper windings that are mounted individually all the way around ,at the flywheel end? Never seen anything like that before. Mind you you never taken a tractor apart either.
REALLY???
I would think that the block would be fine for somebody looking to replace a freeze cracked block, whose crank, head and pistons were still intact. If it is an Allis (and no it doesn't look like any of my Allis Chalmers engines) then there is a good chance it has replaceable sleeves also. Throwing out good antique parts just to make a dollar on scrap is not what is continuing the restoration of antique tractors.
My suggestion, find out exactly what it is, for sure... and find somebody who needs it rather than sending it to China.

Yep, that was my thinking, maybe useful to someone. Have side cover and part of water pump and fan blades. Still curious as to what windings are for? Was cleaning out some scrap metal before winter, so decided to post and see what you kind fellows has to say about it. Also found what I think is front end part of steering for Ford A or model T. Thx.
I imagine the windings are for the magneto, kind of like a alternator on your car. There is probably a magnet on the flywheel to generate current. I think it would take some powerful wantings to think about any kind of use for it.
