Sorry to say I no longer have the Convertible.

You still have the 1950 Chevy?
I'll have to check it out some time when I'm in the neighborhood! ;)
Let me know! :)

I'd like to find a 1960's Studebaker to restore in the spring...

Hi LB!

“Who belongs to these” was the right question considering the work involved! I’ve had the E-Type since 1978 and just finished it’s second restoration. The Cobra is a 1966 427 replica I built and continue to modify as the years progress. With a dyno reading of 497 HP in a car that weights just over 2,300 pounds….it’s more like an earthbound rocket than a car. Of course, the bride and I just like to “put-put” past pimple faced kids on our Sunday rides. :p Yep, this old age retirement stuff is OK!:D

Ken
Congrats._Nice looking RED cars !

I don't have the 1960 convertible for you, but I'd like to see the 1950 Chevrolet...
I'll be over tomorrow afternoon!

I remember seeing a remarkably similar car this fall, might have been somewhere around Derby. There can't be two of those out and about.
Hi!

Amazing as it might seem in this very rural area there are indeed two identical 1967 red XKE’s garaged one town apart. Both are used on an everyday basis during the summer. I’d not seen another E-type on the road for years when two summers ago I was driving down the main street of Derby, Vermont and I saw an identical twin of my own car coming the other way! I thought it might be a truck carrying a large mirror! We’ve since spent some time on dual “E” trips about New England. If you spot one again in the area next summer ….mine would be the one with the nice looking blonde in the passenger seat! (The bride of many years made me say that!):D

LB....... is the picture of your car, or one of a car that looked like yours? I had a 1960 Black Impala convertible, but didn't have the continental kit. My 1955 Bel Aire Convertible did have the continental kit. They were sharp looking, but the added weight made a already slow car that much slower. :D

With todays trend in car building... it could be a new car! Not much creativity anymore... look at the new mustangs, etc. New cars look like old cars. One in mind looks like the car from the green hornet days.

My 60 Chevy Convertible was black.
It didn't have a continental kit.

I had 2 55 Chevys
I had 2 of the 49 and 50 Chevys. The 49 and the 50 were just like the one pictured . Both of them were that color of green and were 4 door dedans.
The one I have now is a bluish gray1950 Chevy Business Coupe.
