Any of you Oklahomans or north Texans ever bought a trailer from Oklahoma Trailer Sales near Durant? Looking at their web site they have a pretty nice looking 16' x 83" tandem with pipe rails, wrap around 4" channel tongue, and appears to be bulldog hitch. Price is $895. Not bad if it is a good trailer. Thinking about driving up there this weekend.

Bill, sorry for the late reply, one of my neighbors has a trailer from Oklahoma Trailer Sales. He tows with it every day and has had no problems with it for the 2 years he has owned it. He paid $950 for his(I'd better not tell him the tractor dealer ripped him off).

Thanks for the reply, Rob. I did go up that weekend and buy one. I was impressed with the construction. Welds and fabrication looked good and the price was right. And since I have a Texas address, he did not charge me OK sales tax. At 83" wide, almost a foot wider than most 16' trailers, will make loading my 6' cutter much easier.

I just bought a 20+5 dovetail gooseneck from Oklahoma Trailer Sales. Got it home and decided I needed the 25+5. He took it back and had me the new one in 3 days as promised. Very happy with Robert and the quality of his workmanship.

Those seem like awsome prices....that much trailer for less then $1,000 ? Is that right?
I went to their web site, unfortunately I am in Northern Virginia.

Is there anyone in my area that knows of a trailer dealer that has good prices like those in OK?
I'm right off I-81 near WVA and MD.

Thanks

Kevin

Froggy, I bought an 18' trailer from Aubrey Trailer Sales several years ago. It's been a great trailer and was only $1095, but didn't have new tires. Before heading to Okla., you might drive down Hwy 377 to Aubrey and see Paul Redfearn if you haven't already checked them out. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

He will ship anywhere in the US. He had one going to Wyoming when I was there. Good point about the tires. Make sure they are rated for at least the amount your going to carry. Mine had new radials on it. Some of the cheaper trailers have cheaper tires. Good luck.
