Thanks for the notes guys. Yes, I probably pushed it too far. Odd how 60 up isn't nearly as scary as 30 sideways. No, I won't do it again. The chance of messing up a 10K engine is no fun to me right now.

All of this said, I have had a repeated failure in the engine somewhere, that if I stop facing downhill the engine will not restart until it is cooled down. I am still diagnosing this, and wondered if this was part of that issue.

And I have to say I have never thought about going too steep. I look at some places people take dozers, and even regular tractor (and I have to say the manuals I have seen with deer and tym limited you to 20 degrees). But lesson learned,

As for the pond, it is the one on the property that goes dry. In the next year or so we will get a dozer in to deepen the pond and make some adjustments. Maybe it will hold water better or maybe not.

We would certianly love to have you make it. They way I'm looking at the BBQ is that it belongs to all PNW TBNers... I'm just hosting it.:thumbsup: I'd like to see this become an anual thing and the host vary each year.
