Tractor
TX1500F
My previous post was in search of a shift gear for my Iseki TX1500F transmission. Thanks to (Tractor Tech), it appears I found a replacement. My only question now is “what is the best way to access the top shift sliders. I was thinking, which got me in this situation to begin with, to separate transmission from differential and push shaft through from the bearing side? I have never done this before and someone knowledgeable would be a blessing.
Please jump in here and feel free to direct a 78yr old trying to do the right thing.
I’ve got enough time spent in the shop and money outlay that this tractor should be done about the same time I am.

Shhhh, but see attached.

There are plenty of manuals for your machine on the TractorForum(dot)com.

Thank you. After separation from tunnel (between bell housing and 1st tranny, everything came apart as required and replaced gears in reverse order. Installed cover maneuvering the gears with long screwdriver everything dropped into place.
Went to start and got a runaway motor.

Knowing nothing about your tractor, I would first look for a disconnected throttle return spring. Then look for something jamming the linkage.
