Hello All,
I just wanted to let everyone know that I flushed and drained all the fluids out of my Jinma 304 this Weekend. I made a real mess, but have since recovered. I do still have a few questions.
1. I could not find a drain for the power steering so I removed a line, jacked the tractor up and then turned the steering wheel, it seemed to act like a pump, I then turned the wheels manually left and right to get all the fluid out of the Hydraulic Ram. Anyone have an easier way??
2. I could only find 2 drain plugs for the transmission, one was under the transfer case, the other was in the center of the rear end. I did get about 5 gallons out of both though. Where would the other drain plug be?
3. I filled all the chambers with new fluid and added until the dipsticks were full with the plugs unscrewed into their respective housings, the front end and the hydraulics are weeping out of their vents. Isn't this the way to fill them is with the dipsticks not screwed in??
4. My free play on my clutch pedal is about 1 inch, is this correct, it almost engages when the pedal is completely out. Will I mess it up if I adjust the freeplay to about 2 or 2.5 inches?
Thanks all for getting me through this,
Rick
