Well Jim it will not be a big surprise that you are absolutely correct... 7 3/4 qt makes it full... I went ahead and added the remaining 8 ounces so there is 8 qt. with a filter change.
I could have discovered this sooner had I looked in my service record... I have a note there that it IS 2 gallons to change engine oil.
I did check at 6 1/2 quart it is mid point on the dip stick... so those that were speculating that Kubota may specify mid point as the engine oil capacity are also correct. KennyV.
