The oil dipstick on my 3325 doesn't have a full or low mark. All I have is two small holes on the dipstick. Is the bottom one needs oil and the upper one is full. Is there a quart difference between the two holes?

Here is a crazy question but a serious one to me! The manual says with an oil filter change the engine needs 1.6 gallons of oil. I understand 1.5 gallons is 6 quarts. But how much is 1.6 gallons? Now you jnderstand why I am concerned with the full mark.

Don,

Yep, the 2 holes are the full and add marks. How much is 1.6 gallons? 1 glug more than 1.5 gallons

When I change the oil on my 3525 (same engine), I just add 6 quarts, and be done with it. It always is at the top hole even though I changed the filter also.

By the way, I'm using Motorcraft FL1A for my oil filter... mucho cheaper than the Mahindra filter.
