Maybe we should compare serial numbers.
The strange thing is, i pulled up the bobcat parts diagrams, and pulled all part numbers from there. I didn't specify a year or anything. Then, i called the guy at the dealer, and gave him a list of parts. He didn't pick anything for me, he just sent the stuff i asked for, by the part numbers.

I was told mine was a 2008 model. S/N A9JY11982 The parts manual first on line page for the CT235 states A9JY11001 & above.

For what it's worth I looked up the Kioti CK35 filter and it is E6201-32443. Fram crosses that to a PH3985 which has 20mm x 1.5 threads.

Sounds like you have a Bob Cat 225 that someone re-badged a 235. You need to call the dealers parts department and get them to compare the filter and adapter sizes for both tractors, the 225 and 235 to determine which you have.

Hmm. The serial number plate shows ct235. If the engine is different, how can I tell? I think the top of the valve cover notes the displacement. Would that be wrong?

Every cross reference I have seen show the larger 20mm thread for that kioti.

What is the kioti part number of the one you got? What is the bobcat part number of the old one?

If 18mm is indeed what you have, look at a Napa 1040 or 1036. Same specs and mounting but the 1036 is a tad larger can. Add a 5 in front of the Napa numbers for a wix number

I got bobcat filter part number 6696286. It came in the bobcat box. Box shows part number, but filter doesn't. Filter is identical to the one that came off the tractor.
According to the bobcat parts lists, this is the same filter that fits the CT235.
Does anyone here get their filters from Bobcat?

Note this Napa filter thread size and also the referenced Bobcat part number given toward the bottom on the page. NAPA AUTO PARTS

Parts list for both CT225 and CT235 show same filter part number. 6696286

Are you "sure" you have 18mm threads?

something just aint adding up.

Everything indicates your tractor has 20mm threads.

Yet you say a napa 1324 is too big. But the identical cross ref. bobcat filter fits. That bobcat filter has 20mm threads.
