branson 4720h 6ft brush hog ,post hole digger, ripper, pallet forks,
I have a Branson 4720H I changed engine oil and filter. Also Trans oil and filter at 50 hrs with Branson hydraulic oil and T6 15-40 oil

Was I suppose to just change filters at 50 ?
How many hours should I change oils at ?

How long do you run your oil or hyd fluid ?

Engine oils I change around 50 hours or every two years, whichever comes first. Hydraulic oil is recommended at 250 hour increments if I recall

I always change filters when changing fluids.

Don’t forget your air and fuel filters. Check your air filters regularly for varmits chewing them up

Owners manual states changing both at 50 and the reason is to flush out any manufacturing scraps/filings and such that may have remained in the system. The manual also shows the recommended change interval and I never change oil with an old filter as you don't know how clogged it is from the old oil.....possibly activating the bypass valve in the filter, and it usually contains a quantity of used oil.

The owner's manual is for "The World's" users and I don't stress my equipment all that much. I decide when to change my fluids.
