G'day Axlehub. Yes, we all like different things...

I've got the same joystick and it doesn't interfere with with my right leg at all, especially when operating the reverse pedal. The base of it is set back with the shaft being bent to where control handle perfectly (for me) sits. I've used it extensively during haying season whilst picking up and loading large rounds; it's a joy to use. The bloke demonstrating was probably turned towards the camera giving the impression of 'knocking' it.

There's no real access to this sized tractor from the right hand side... the single step is on the left, as are most tractors.

Oooooh... SHINY! :dance1:

The roll-out stop feature is nice, as is the rev-increase/decrease.

The FEL attach demonstrated is what I have on my 300CX, but you're still going to have to get off your arse and remove the locking pins prior to dropping and then replace the locking pins when you're picked up the 'new' implement.

Very good observation:thumbsup:
Also no extendable links on the 3 point.
Or control lever at the back to raise and lower the tree pointMy 2013 Kioti came stock with these stock.

As far as the bucket on off like you mentioned you gotta get off to pull the pins or put them back in...the single lever QA on the Kioti is quicker/easier.
The roll in out, I really see no benefit in unless you are a clueless operator..the My DK has a built in lag so you don't skid tires..you get used to it..still almost as fast as a skid steer.
The auto throttle while a cool gizmo is not necessary. I pulled the throttle apart an my DK and lubed the frictions plate with penetrating grease its a one fingered affair and takes nothing to reach up and adjust...Doing steady loader work your at one rpm anyway, youwanna stop bump it down to a idle, pull a big hill at speed snag it with your finger and speed it up..like I said cool gizmo but not necessary by any means if you have a nice working manual throttle.

I am not a engineer, but I would also think the auto throttle would be counter productive to the tier 4 emissions allowing the motor to drop to a idle frequently...gizmos sell tractors, but not all they are cracked up to be JMO ;)

Is it just me or did the John Deere seem to idle down funny when the auto throttle was in?? And what's up with the loader pins?? I saw they had different placings.

Like the cruise but on my gear tractors don't need it. Stick it in gear and go. I see the problem of stuff getting hit/broke and water damaged too easy. But that's just my thoughts

G'day farm boy00. I didn't notice the 'idle down funny when the auto throttle was in' part. It may have to do with the fwd/rev pedals having to do extra or combined duty. :confused3: Personally I'm fine with just setting the revs where I want to work at and then working the pedals.

A cruise control on that size of a tractor is a 'pretty thing' to have but not necessary for the very odd occasion that it might be used. 50hp+, yes 'cause you're getting into Ag work.

I did spot what you were referring to about the loader pins. It must be some sort of new retaining/storing position for when they're not in use, or they were taped up so that they didn't drag on the ground during the demonstration. My 300CX doesn't have it; the pins hang down via a retaining wire when not in use.

What do you all think of the deceptive advertising that manufactures and dealers do? Like that "bucket swap". I for one, don't like it. I don't understand why they think they have to do this, as people are gonna find out as soon as they play with the machine.

Maybe I missed it, but I'm sure there is a link in there to create your own GoFundMe account.

I know John Deere gets a bad rap on here a lot but I do like them. I've never found them to be more expensive then Kubota in my area. In fact we have a Mahindra dealer here that was even more expensive than both of those. And I don't know anyone that can say a bad thing about A yanmar Engine. I think a lot of the problems come in with dealers that have no interest in or knowledge in selling The cut's. Or it's one of the dealers that have that arrogance about them. I think we've all ran into at least one of those. Sadly that's not just a John Deere problem anymore. Anyways John Deere has always been on my radar and if I was in the market for a new tractor it's still would be.

John Deere product is good product in many ways I believe. However it seems that most (not all) have some design ideas or features that rubs me wrong in the midst of a good product. But I'm not talking little things. As examples . . in the series 1 scut products they have the quick connect for the fel hydraulics located under the floor on the front right side. Now to me that is really dumb because it exposes the lines and connections to damage unneccessarily by brush or objects . . As well as the rubber connection caps dangle even lower yet than the exposed lines. And you have to reach lower to get at them as well.

Or in the 3 series unit in the video . . When would I ever feel safe leaving it sit outside in winter with ice and snow effecting or attacking that electronic control pad . . Not to mention rain and sun ?

Are these the type of things that would keep me away? Yes. Not because the tractors aren't good products in other ways and I love yanmar engines . . But obvious maintenance issues means future costs and down time. I've seen some good j.d. product too . . don't get me wrong. But when others don't have these types of design flaws . . why pay extra and have more potentional issues?

J.D. makes products that are successful . . they just don't seem to be for me?

By the way . . Kubota, Massey/Iseki, and Yanmar under their own names all make front flow engine cooling in their scuts and some cuts. Does anyone know if J.D. produces any front flow engine cooling tractors ?

Absolutely, BS.
