Ok, I am officially fed up with my dealer. Aside from giving me what would seem like remarkably bad advice on purchase like not loading the tires, refusing to acknowledge that peeling paint is an issue or brakes that do not stop the tractor he has now not returned the **** thing from its $500 50 hour service for two weeks. Can anyone recommend a dealer in Western CT or there abouts that can work on a Mahindra? By the way I have no major complaints about the tractor other than it would be nice if it stopped. If I were Mahindra and wanting to increase my sales in the Northeast, I would make sure customers had choices. Sorry for sounding frustrated.

Buy the service manual for $150 and keep the money you're paying dealers. You can do it yourself with just a little trouble.
I know it stinks when you want to pay somebody to do a job and they won't or can't. Have you tried the dealer locator?

I know Mahindra puts on a mechanic training seminar. I think it is comming up in the near future. You might want to suggest to your dealer that he send his mechanics, and...I would ask them if they have been to any. They get a certificate for attending the class. Check his wall and see whats hanging. Finding a "Dealer" is much more difficult than finding someone to sell you a tractor. I lost my dealer this year and have been searching for another one. Check out the dealer locator on the Mahindra web site. When I checked for others in my area, some of them were no longer selling Mahindra, but still listed on the site. Most of them, at least in my area mainly sell garden tractors.

I am with the others, get a service manual, do it yourself, and when you get stuck, post and we will help. Down side...while it is in warranty, the dealer will have to do the work if you want the parts replaced for free. I also agree, it should not be this way. Mahindra is a great product, it just needs better Dealer support.
