Today I found what appears to be a broken o-ring on a path that I drive my tractor down on the way to my dock. Nothing else mechanical goes down it.
If unbroken the o-ring would be approx 4.25" in diameter and the rubber is .095" thick. Does anyone know if this sounds like a part off a BX24? I can't find any leaks anywhere.

If it has orange paint on it then it probably came from the cylinder shaft. They were used to keep oil from getting on the paint or paint from the oil. They were on the shaft of the cylinder.

True they are used on the hydraulic cylinder rods when painting, problem is there are none as big as 4.25" diameter on a BX24.
