NX4510 Squeaky Front Wheel

Need some ideas please!

Was working with a buddy the other day, and he noticed the left front wheel of my tractor was squeaking intermittently when I was rolling forward. Seems to be squeaking in time with the wheel revolutions (one squeak per revolution). I didn't really notice it...but now I do!! Thanks unnamed friend.... :laughing:

Anyway, my first though was wheel bearing. I raised the front end off the ground with the loader and checked for bearing play, but there's absolutely none that I can discern, either side to side or top to bottom. I check the axle lube, and it's full there as well. I tried turning the wheel to see if I could feel drag or something, but nothing there either, possibly due to it not having any weight on it.

Any ideas?

You check the lug nuts?

Ha ha! No, but wouldn't that be something? I'll go check that now.

Just so everyone knows I'm not prideful, I got 1+ turns out of all but one of the lug nuts. Same for the ones on the other side.

Don't know if this fixed my squeak, but I'll know the next time I use the thing!

But of course! All around. Rear ones weren't nearly as bad though. :laughing:
