The only good thing I can say about R4 tires is that they are very robust and resistant to punctures which is good. My neighbor ruined an R1 on her Deere 5075 after running over a deer antler while cutting hay. That was expensive!!! The R4s ride like s*** and don't grip worth a s*** but the same attributes that make them terrible in those areas make them great for longevity. They last forever.

I like them they have good side stability when side hilling. I have multiple hillsides with 20 degree slopes that I have cross sideways.

They seem to ride good too.

I don’t think they will clean/clear themselves of mud like a R1 will.
