Well we are at the "dealing" stage,, He has made his offer, and I told him it was not good enough.. and he said he would get back to me Monday, (they close at 2:00Pm )to see if we can come closer together.. I may or may not be a member of the pack soon I just don't know..I am torn with keeping what I have and getting a much nicer tractor with lots more capability.. we shall see.

James, If there is any way that you can swing the deal, DO IT! You will not be sorry. That tractor is so much more tractor than what you have, heck I would bet that it will actually extend your life. Having a much nicer tractor :thumbsup: and being able to do more & heavier work, faster & easier all adds up to a more comfortable life. I know that I delayed getting my 3215HST for almost 2 years, waiting was one of the worst things that I had done, buying it has been one of the best. It made my life quite a bit easier. You only live once, don't have any regrets. Oh yeah, don't forget to be sure that you get both rear remotes for your Top and Tilt set.

You guys aren't the only ones! I have been dreaming about tractors for oh about 60 years now, and actually am going to be in the market for one about this time next year. So I've been going to all the local dealers, therare are at least 8 different ones, and just sintting on some to try them on for size. Despite my username, I absolutely fell in love with a DK45SE! I want one with cab. hst, and loader. Boy am I ever tempted, and my daughter is telling me to go ahead and get it now. Decisions, decisions....

The extra extimated $3500 next year for the tier 4 diesel compliance might have something to do with your "get it now or later" decision.

Hope you can pull it out. Now is the time to get a new machine if you need one. This Tier4 stuff is stupid. No new tractor for me for a loooong time. I got what I need, but if you have anything you want now, you have to buy now. Paying $3500+ for a computer controlled engine, I think not!

Maybe you can use that reasoning for a cab:thumbsup:

Tier 4 interim, not Tier 4 final. Tier 4 interim has been in place a couple years, but Tier 4 final is where things get nasty.
